What sort of factory are you in? Here are some options:

Child labour in factories could be doing things like working with cotton, bottling liquids, sweeping etc. Often because of their size, children were used to climb under machines and into tight spaces to repair or clean the machinery. Children were apprenticed and sometimes given lodgings, food and an hour of schooling a week (if they were lucky). Hours were long and the factories were noisy, hot, dusty and dangerous places to work. Medical records reveal that accidents and disease were common.
