If we listen to the news about global warming and politics it can feel a little overwhelming. Will governments in different countries ever listen to each other to make good changes for our planet?
Well the thing is, they have done it before.

Dobson Units are a way of measuring the concentration of ozone in our sky. Similar to how a mm is a unit of measurement for a distance, DU is a way of measuring how 'thick' the ozone is over the earth.
Look at the image below. The colour shows the 'thickness' of the ozone layer by using Dobson Units. Black would be bad (0 DU), Blue is pretty bad. Green is ok. And red is good.
