Believe it or not, all scripts look pretty much the same. This is because they must be formatted the same way and use the same font even. The font used is the Courier Font or a variation of this font (Courier New, Courier Prime, etc.)
Pick one script from this library (there are a lot to choose from!). Spend some time exploring this script to get used to the way it is formatted. Do this as a class or individually.

Before you write a script you need a plan of a short story. Your movie trailer will not tell this whole story because *spoilers* We are not judging you on the quality of your story but how you portray this story in the trailer. However! The better the story for your genre, the better your trailer will likely be.
Plan out a story and then pick what you will focus on with your movie trailer.
