In groups of two you need to find a NEW ZEALAND organisation

You will complete a scavenger hunt to discover New Zealand websites that help people spot, check, or deal with online fake information.

Find one NZ website that helps with online safety, fact-checking, or misinformation.
Record the name of the website.
Describe what services it offers (e.g., fact-checking, reporting harmful content, media complaints, online safety advice, etc.).
Explain how this website helps people avoid fake information online.

Netsafe - NZ’s official online safety organisation.
Keep It Real Online - NZ Government initiative (Ministry of Justice, DIA, etc.).
FACT Aotearoa - Grassroots NZ group countering misinformation and conspiracy content.
InternetNZ (Ipurangi Aotearoa) - NZ’s national organisation for the open internet; does research and education on misinformation
New Zealand Media Council - NZ media standards body; handles complaints about misleading/inaccurate reporting.
