You have your brief, you have your script. The next thing you need is to film and edit your short movie trailer. Because we do not have a huge amount of time, you may want to do some editing at home, but do as much as you can in class.
Some of the edits in this used AfterEffects which we will not be using but there are a lot of tips in this video to inspire you!
Below are some really useful resources. If you are not able to record some video, consider using stock videos and merge them together to make your trailer. Consider transitions, sound effects. You will have done a lot of this in year 9 when making your KFC advert.
Use this website to edit your film. You did a bit of this in Canva in year 9.
Free stock videos. You can cut these up and use them how you want in your trailer.
Free sounds. Also use Google to search for free sound effects.
For your movie trailer there are a few things you need to decide. Jobs can be split amongst your team.
Movie name (font choice and style)
Music choice- choosing music to use at different points. Remember you can use more than one to change the mood.
Sound effects- choosing sound effects to suit your trailer
Credits - someone needs to create credits
Voice over- will there be a voice over? If so, someone will need to script and record this.
