Visual Mihi

Feli drew his by hand.

He has included a family tree at the top and his house floor plan because he likes design and it is the place of significance for him.

Ideally he would have added more colour but he ran out of time.

In this task you will be creating a visual mihi. On this you need to include:

A photo/drawing/representation of yourself
In the past students have used avatar makers if they don't want to draw.
Your tūrangawaewae, a place that is important to you
This could be your home, a place you like to holiday, a place you like to hang out etc. You can draw it OR describe it
Your family
List who your family consists of, you can include people that you consider family too. You can draw each person if you wish.
Something that interests you
This could be a hobby or sport you watch etc.
Something that reflects your culture
A flag, a pattern, a map.

You could use Google Draw or Sumo Paint to do something like this.

Mrs Taylor can create a tutorial if you'd like to learn about digital drawing.
