Volcano Trivia

For this game, break into small groups (4 students). Each group is responsible for creating a set of trivia cards about volcanoes. 

Trivia cards should have a question on the front and an answer on the back. Try to come up with some DIFFICULT ones! 

Think about:

• Historic volcanoes

• The impact of volcanoes

• Volcanoes in NZ

• Biggest volcanoes 

• Creation of volcanoes

• Effects of volcanoes

Once each group has created at least twenty cards, swap decks with a different group. 

Distribute the cards evenly amongst themselves and take turns answering the trivia questions. 

Anyone who answers the question correctly gets to keep the card, and the person with the most cards at the end is the winner of the round.
